What is Omnilux MD New-U?
Omnilux MD New-U is a hand-held, Light Emitting Diode (LED) device for the treatment of periorbital wrinkles, more commonly known as crows feet. How does the Omnilux MD New-U work?
Omnilux MD combination phototherapy works with the body's own natural processes to counteract the effects of aging. The different colored lights target specific cells which are responsible for the synthesis and repair of the skin's supportive structures.

What results can be expected from a series of treatments with the Omnilux MD New U?

How many treatments will be needed?
The course of treatments is 2x20 minutes treatments per week for 4 weeks of alternate infrared and red light, but because the light will not damage your skin, there is no limit on the number of treatments you can have.
How long do the results last?
This depends on the age of your skin and the amount of photodamage. Skin rejuvenation is a dynamic process, and natural expression lines (i.e. lines caused by laughing, smiling, frowning and crying) will gradually return in the course of time. Since we can't stop the aging process, we recommend follow-up treatments (typically 2 to 4 treatments) every month dependent upon your lifestyle.

Is Omnilux MD New-U safe and painless?

Omnilux MD Clear-U™ has been developed from an FDA cleared medical device that has been used by dermatologists worldwide for the successful treatment of acne.
What is clear-U?
Omnilux MD Clear-U uses light technology in the form of light emitting diodes to:
  • Destroy the bacteria responsible for acne
  • Stimulate healthy tissue growth

    • When should I use clear-U?
    Use Omnilux MD Clear-U at the first sign of an acne breakout. The treatment program consists of 8 treatment sessions spread over 4 weeks, 2 treatments a week. Use the blue light on the first treatment session; wait 2 days, then use the red light. Repeat this for the next 3 weeks.

    One of the key bacteria responsible for acne is Propioni bacterium acnes (Pacnes). When your skin is flooded with blue and red light, the bacteria self destructs and inflammation is decreased. Your acne fades and your skin heals. It's as simple as that!
